
| 7/26/2010 8:49:00 AM | Email this article Print this article | Ride to benefit two organizations Vorpi Chiropractic has announced the route line for the Annual Motorcycles for Mutts and Kitties Too. The ride will benefit C-SNIP, West Michigan's only non-profit and neuter clinic, as well as the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
It is a seven-card "poker-style" ride with the winner receiving round trip airline tickets from AirTran to anywhere they fly.
The ride will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 14 at Vorpi Chiropractic. After registration the 150-mile scenic ride will start from Vorpi Chiropractic, stop at The Driftwood at Croton-Hardy, cross Hardy Dam, go through Morley to the Moe-Z-Inn, down through Sand Lake and East to the Vorpi residence in Rockford for a barbeque lunch.
After lunch, riders will travel south to Alto to The Nighthawk and back up into Grand Rapids for a silent auction at The Score, 5301 Northland Drive NE.
Early registration for the event is currently running at both Vorpi Chiropractic, 11741 Cedar Rock Drive NE, Rockford, and C-SNIP, 1675 Viewpond SE, Kentwood. Riders who pre register will only be charged $20 per bike or $30 with a passenger. Day of registration costs are $25 per bike or $35 with a passenger. The registration fee includes a BBQ lunch for each rider.
